External Terminal Package
-------------------------
*NOTE* All hereafter mentioned company names etc.. are
registered tradmarks of there respective holders.
Gmenu.exe will execute external terminal packages from within a menu
environment. It will be used as a front-end program from which
you will load your Term Program (Telix, Qmodem, Etc..) and preform
standard telecommunication. Then when you need to run and external
terminal to execute a graphic or otherwise online program you will
simply exit your term program and select the terminal package you
need to run. Gmenu has been successfully tested with such programs as
the graphic version of The Pit, Land of destruction, Global Wars
ansi terminal, and Battle Grid. Once you have completed your external
terminal task, Gmenu will automaticaly reload your terminal package
and place you back in the bbs. This program was written to simplify
the current Graphic online programs available and to support future
graphic onling games produced by Locatha Ind. Gmenu is PUBLIC DOMAIN
free to destribute without cost of any kind. No Individual has the
right to charge or distribute via disk with charge, version 1.01 of
Gmenu.
When you run GMENU.EXE you will see three menu options
1.EDIT
2.RUN
3.QUIT
EDIT:
you will notice 15 available slots to add upto 15 external Program
applications. Although Gmenu was orignally intended for use with extenral
Terminal applications it will execute any program within your memory
restraints. However, keep in mind that your terminal program should
allways fill the first slot, becuase Gmenu automaticaly executes the first
slot after running any other applications. Thus if you had Telix in slot
1, and were running Battle Grid in slot 2, then upon exiting the Battle
Grid Terminal Package Gmenu would reload telix and place you back into
the BBS.
Each slot requires 4 pieces of information about each applications.
1. Menu Name (This is what will be displayed in the menu)
2. File name (i.e. Bgrid2.exe)
3. Parameters (Parameters being passed to the file
i.e. 2400 COM2 ON -0 NOLOCKED)
4. Path (the Full path where the program is Located)
RUN:
To Run an application simply highlight the Menu name and press enter.
QUIT:
